I have a good friend who falls for one MLM scam after another. She desperately pays to invest in MLM scams in hopes of being financially independent. The reality is that the MLMs have caused her to lose her regular job, her credit, and soon her home. Her latest MLM get rich quick scam is Nu Skin. Does anyone have any solid advice on how to help someone see the light before my friend becomes homeless?

You can’t – especially if she gets involved in one thing after the other. Nobody can do anything.

My old roommate was the same – in the past 3 years she’s probably out over $25,000 after getting involved in at least 5 different companies but nothing deters her. She is very naive and believes that the next one she finds is going to be the one that finallly makes her a millionnaire because she believes whatever some slick salesman is telling her – but has no idea how much time and effort she actually has to put in before she can have any chance of making money. These are not get rich quick schemes – but unfortunately too many people believe it’s easy money. Any sort of job like this takes a lot of time and effort before you see results – I don’t care if it’s Avon or Tupperware or NuSkin or Mary Kay or any othe company

Honestly people like this can’t be helped – they don’t listen to friends and family, and don’t care how much money they are losing. Some people never will learn that there is no such thing as a quick buck.

It is an addition. Take them to AA and see if they could help them.

Hi,

MLM is one of the best business models out there, but most people fail.

The reason is that most people join companies and opportunities, while successful people join… people.

Your friend believe in the MLM model, but she is most probably missing the proper education.

MLM is not a scam. it’s a business, just like any other business. This is a business which you have to learn and educate yourself about, just as you should when you start any business.

If you wish, you can PM me and I’ll direct you to some MLM education programs I took myself. If your friend will not quit MLM, at least she will learn how to succeed it it.

Good luck,
