I am looking into getting involved in a new MLM deal. What are some of things I should look for? I will be at the top levels. That I know for sure.

I am basically from selling background and I train people on sales. my advise is that you should not know more about selling then you will succeed in MLM. Make more no of attempts and show the product value to the down the line. convince the people what they will get instead of what you get. contact more no of people and do not hesitate to ask for an order. tell me which product i will be able to advice. I have trained many people in MLM

You should always thoroughly research the company in question by using unbiased online resources and searching for negative information on the comany via Google or Yahoo.

The best way to do this is to do a search for the company name plus the word ‘scam’ afterwards (example: thismlmcompany scam )

Results returned will often include people who feel they have been scammed, or worse, links to pages on the FTC website or Attorney General sites talking about cease and desist notices or other actions.

You need to filter the results to be sure that what you are reading is not just competitors trashing the business opportunity.

You can also use sources like mlmrankings.com to check what the industry buzz is about a company. How many people are aware of the company and how it ranks against other MLMs.

Find info on the executive team and their history of successes or failures. Oftentimes new companies are launched by executives that may have just tanked a prior company and are just doing the same business under a new name.
